Like you, we have needed to tighten jam nuts both on the road or while out off-roading and sometimes scramble to find a large enough wrench. We designed and made a compact set of 10 jam nut wrench sizes consolidated down to 5 simple tools. The sizes includes 3/4”, 7/8”, 15/16”, 1-1/8”, 1-5/16”, 1-1/2”, 1-5/8”, 1-11/16”, 1-3/4” and 1-7/8”. The center of the jam nut wrenches have a square hole for a 1/2” ratchet. The jam nut wrenches are laser cut here in the USA at Motobilt from 3/8” thick heavy duty steel plate. The jam nut wrenches are sold as a set of 5 and ship to you bare steel. You will need to oil them our paint them to prevent rust. For those of you using them in your off-road tool bag we recommend painting them a bright color to make them easy to spot if you drop them on the trail. Jam nuts require 1/2 the torque specs than that of a standard nut.
