This kit was designed to avoid check engine lights with its properly mapped Mass Air Flow Sensor. The large diameter intake tube was designed to minimize restriction. The tube is positioned in one clean line with minimum obstructions from the throttle body to the air box. This means more cool air and better performance. MULTIPLE AIR INLETS More air equals better performance. The Duramax LMM intake kit features two large air inlet points. If you want to customize the amount of air you take in, we include an optonal box plug that can seal off one inlet point.
