Motobilt Spare Tire Relocation Bracket Kit is used to relocate your license plate or tag to the center of your tailgate mounted spare tire. Looking for the perfect way to relocate the tag on your Jeep YJ, TJ, LJ, JK , 5 lug pattern to 8 on 6.5 or SUV to the tailgate mounted spare tire? The Motobilt Spare Tire Tag Relocation Kit is a simple and effective way to do this. The kit is CNC cut from 14 ga high strength steel plate and welded together in two parts to form the assembly. The first part slips over the studs on your tire carrier with the spare tire removed. Then place your spare tire back on and secure the lug nuts holding the inner bracket in place. Next simply attach the outer part of the tag relocation bracket with the one bolt provided in the kit. The outer bracket is slotted so you can adjust for different wheel widths. The bracket kit ships bare metal. You can simply spray paint with a rattle can to the color of your choice or have it powdercoated.
