Coil springs play so many roles in how a truck performs. From ride height, to rebound, to weight carrying capacity, and many other factors, they all must be accounted for when improving upon the factory coils. And this is an area that Carli has the pinnacle of expertise in, and these coils are no exception. Ram threw the aftermarket a huge curveball with the release of the 2014 2500's. Coil springs in the tail of a heavy duty pickup were a foreign concept, but Carli took the new applications and immediately went to testing. Carli's multi-rate springs feature different width coil spacing, making them a variable spring rate. Initially it is easy to compress these springs for the first couple of inches. As you apply more force, the coils come closer to each other. The more force you apply to the spring, the more the rate increases. So, these springs are compliant to very small bumps on the road, while achieving control when needed off road, hard braking, and turning. These springs allow you to achieve the highest performance while driving hard and providing a smooth, comfortable drive the rest of the time, while still providing your factory payload capabilities.
