The resistor will get hot during operation—ensure it is positioned away from other wiring to prevent heat-related damage. Compatible with both non-LED and Wranglers. For LED models, remove the resistor before installation. Some 2023 and newer JL models may display an in-dash bulb-out error due to variations in PCM voltage tables. This does not affect tail light performance and can be corrected using JScan or a Tazer Mini. Not compatible with Blind Spot Monitoring system. See note below. The Combat Off Road LED tail light kit (Tail Gunner Tail Light Kit) is not designed or recommended to be used or installed on any Jeep JL or JT Gladiator that are equipped with the blind spot monitoring system.
