The SmartStraps RatchetX ratchet tie down is a heavy duty tie down used for securing heavier loads often hauled in a large pick-up truck or on a medium trailer such as motorcycles, boats, and appliances. The ratchet tie down has a robust, flared out aluminum handle with a comfortable over-molded, padded grip and release pawl for extra grip and maximum leverage. Stronger and more user friendly than standard ratcheting tie downs. Features extra-long webbing on attachment end for hard-to-reach anchor points. The pre-threaded webbing also helps prevent accidentally feeding the webbing from the wrong direction. Includes protective hex caps to help keep the ratchet mechanism clean, soft tie loops to prevent scratching, and a convenient securing strap to make it easy to tie off excess webbing or to keep your straps bundled after use. The strap features precision gearing thanks to more teeth along the sprocket of the ratchet, allowing the tension to stay under control when securing loads.
