About the Jeep Wrangler LJ
The Jeep Wrangler LJ — officially the "Wrangler Unlimited" — was a stretched TJ with a 10-inch longer wheelbase. Often called the "unicorn" of Wranglers, the LJ combined the TJ's beloved 4.0L inline-six engine and coil-spring suspension with a longer wheelbase for better highway stability and more cargo space. Only produced for three model years, LJs command premium prices on the used market. Most TJ parts fit the LJ, making aftermarket support excellent.
