BulletProof Hitches® are manufactured to a very tight tolerance of +/- .010 of an inch. Unfortunately, hitch receivers cannot always live up to these standards. Tolerances can vary as much as .100 of an inch and could cause some unwanted movement or rattle in the hitch. To solve this, we have developed the 2.5" BulletProof Anti-Rattle Clamp. It allows you to tighten the hitch to the receiver and eliminate all movement. Our Anti-Rattle clamp is made from 1/2" thick pressed brake steel and features our signature black, textured powder coat. Installation is simple - just slide the hitch through the clamp, insert the hitch into the receiver, tighten the bolt and then tighten the jam nut with a wrench to eliminate movement inside the receiver. *Torque specification on the bolt is 20ft-lbs.* *Note: Anti-Rattle Clamp is NOT compatible with weight distribution systems . *PATENT PENDING
