For the times when you must attach a rope, strap, or chain to your truck, it's vital to find the strongest possible point on the vehicle. The Extreme Duty 2" BulletProof Receiver Shackle solves that problem by using a solid steel shank with a 1-1/4" Shackle, that allows you to attach a rope, strap, or chain to your vehicle. This shackle features four different pin holes that allow the user to set the shackle in the direction they need to. The design allows it to be used in both horizontal and vertical orientations and can be used in extended or recessed positions. For vehicles with stock bumpers, this allows more of the shank to fit in the receiver opening. For vehicles with aftermarket bumpers, where the shackle must protrude from the receiver to physically work with your bumper, the additional pin hole towards the end of the shank gives you another 1-1/2" of extension.

The weight capacity remains the same with any of the pin holes, in any orientation. The Receiver Shackle features the same textured black powder coat as our hitches.
